February 2024 has had a lot of exciting events. My lab participated in outreach events at Aberdeen high school, New Hope middle school, and Mississippi State University’s Science Night at the Museums event.
I visited Aberdeen high school, working with three of Mrs. Triplett’s biology classes. Teaching them about the tree of vertebrates and early human evolution.
I also participated in New Hope middle school’s STEM night, doing evolution themed activities for the families visiting the event. I was also lucky to bring along MUW student volunteer Alisa Smith!
Lastly, Alisa Smith and MUW student Cain Petty helped with MSU’s Science Night at the Museums event, sharing biology related activities.
