This week I was invited to give the annual Hazard Lecture at Heritage Academy. The Hazard Lecture Series was established in 1992 by George Hazard Jr. and his sisters, Florence and Eulalie, to honor their father, George Hazard. I talked about my research with geckos, including a couple student projects, and we brought two live geckos! My student Kane Petty, and gave a short summery of their new project looking at gecko tail pad diversity. It was a great chance to share our research with a new crowd! The presentation was also covered in a article in the Commercial Dispatch.
