I am excited to share (albeit a little late) that MUW undergrad Bailey Howell was awarded a travel grant through the Undergraduate Diversity at Evolution award program to present her research working with Dr. Kristin Winchell looking at urban and forest anole toe pads at this summer’s Evolution conference in Providence, RI!

In addition to presenting her toe pad research that she is doing with Dr. Kristin Winchell and me, Bailey is also spending the summer at Auburn University in Alabama. She was chosen to participate in a bioinformatics REU program there! She’s be working in the Schwartz lab looking at daphnia genomics and adaptation!

Congratulations to Bailey and her very busy summer!
