I was very excited to attend and present at this year’s Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists in St. Paul, Minnesota. I was invited to give a presentation as part of the “Science in 3D” symposium. I talked about my trials and tribulations imaging gecko setae.
I also brought two MUW undergraduate students, Maddie Guerin and Kane Petty. Petty presented their poster on a project they’ve been working on looking at the affect of formalin preservation on lizard toe pads. They did a great job and even connected with additional collaborators!
