This was an exciting year for the SICB conference. I brought three MUW undergraduates to Portland, OR.

One student, Maddie Guerin, presented a poster on a long term project in my lab, looking at ontogenetic changes in toe pad morphology and performance in crested geckos.

Kane Petty also gave a talk on a project they have also been working on, looking at the effects of formalin preservation and ethanol storage on gecko toe pad morphology.

Lastly, a collaborator, Dr. Lauren Cirino, a professor University of Mary Washington presented results from a recently published paper we worked on together looking at mandible morphology in male and female red milkweed beetles.
